THE BEGINNING OF JASON’S NBA CAREER
——————————————————————————–
Jason entered the 1998 NBA Draft. He was the 7th overall pick by the Sacramento Kings. Many were
amazed that he could be picked with his failed drug tests and early draft entery. That didn’t stop Jason though. He was deterimed to prove himself. That’s exactly what the young, rookie of the year award contender did. He was great his rookie year stopping all commotion about him. He was draining everything beyond the ark. He made 100 out of 323 attempts. Most of thoughs shots were way beyond the three point line. He had made his point, he was here to play. He lead the Kings to the playoffs and taking Utah Jazz to overtime in game 5. Sadly they lost, but left with heads held high. The 2001 draft he was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies for Mike Bibby. Who is another outstanding point guard.
